sure windows phone is great, but it lacks apps... it's just like linux used to be on desktop PCs -- great, but lacking programs

windows phone doesnt even have snapchat for instance, what the fuck

I don't need 100+ apps that I won't even use. Apps that were important for me were available for windows phone at the time I bought my phone. Also new ones are being developed systematically. Of course there are pros and cons of windows phone. However, the biggest advantage is that since I use WP my phone never lagged, never got 'frozen' etc. I experienced that a lot using android. As you said, there is lack of programs for linux, yet people still use it. Same with windows phone. I guess that is just one's personal choice what to buy/use.

Im thinking about buying new Nokia 5100, my current one is ~10y old and pqrs7 -button doesnt register presses that well anymore :/ Otherwise still working great, and whats most important I can call with it and send txt messages and its durable as fuck(because mostly blue rub surface). I can recommend this phone to anyone!

Since we're on it, any recommendations as to what new phone I should be getting? My age old brick of a Samsung S8000 broke down a week ago, still looking for a replacement, phone's primarily used to check emails with.. and... despite popular believe, actually.. talk to people. Never really bother to text or have shiny/fancy apps - though, doesn't mean I wont play around with it like a 5 year old with his first lego set. Seeing as I'm on a contract and prize really doesn't fucking matter, BESTEST PHONE PLS!?!? Oh, no Apple products. Ever. HTC One looks fancy.

s4, htc one if u like media management, tested late windows phones on htc and tbh despite the lak of apps, i kinda enjoyed it. But yeah i got iphone 5 myself, I would hardly change for any other phone.

i got the htc one.. looks better, same specifications (benchmarks either just above or just below the S4) and yeah, thats it really.. i chose it because i think the s4 and xperia z looks like shit while the htc one looks like quality
