I have been contacting some different big LAN organisations who are interested in hosting a competition for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
The only problem I face with most of these LAN's that it will be a BYOC (bring your own PC). Not like Adroits, where the pc's were already set up for you.
This is the response I got from The Reality:
After another chat with him, to get some more information, he told me they can get a Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory competition going, get a server going and a prizepool. Then I asked about the BYOC, and he told me that you will have to ask for other competitors to make use of their PC on the LAN. I'm going to have a look now if there is any other way to get pc's/monitors on location for this LAN.
Would any team be interested in this LAN if it was BYOC?

with no internet delay and equal computers, the players have to fight hard to see whos best

Fun beside, I used to do judo and jiujitsu, that doesn't help me but it's enough to know that it's not as if he'd be able to get me to the floor, where brazilian jiujitsu is effective only
But Rockskin will dodge because that is how he rolls so we will end up playing with Twizzt instead.
Getting a new mouse in a week or so, my old one that I used for many years broke :o need to play some ET with the new one, get used to it! you up for playing a bit soon?
actually the hungarian LAN organisers called me to apologise for the last LAN chance, and he told me they've bought 60 high-end PCs, which they'd kindly offer in return, for a LAN that would be an ET only LAN if there is still interest for it. Sounds stupid after all those announces from me, and then it turned out bad, however it'd be pretty good :) Could make it rtcw and ET , no other games, with rented high end PC-s, and on a date, that we could discuss, that fits the majority. (this is not trolling
