sometimes i will stand-in (merc) for 2 semi-pro teams i know and most of the people in public at a certain level like to play as if their life was depending on it so its almost like a competition

nice :) Im trying to get in to competevitve, but its hard when youre unkown :& and I don't really know the skill system, since most of the teams searching on joindota are "high skilled". Quite boring to play solo in public ^^
ye the community is so big that it takes a lot of time to become somewhat known

I figured as much, but it's still beyond me as to how people can not manage to spell properly. Given the fact; just about every modern internet browser has built-in spell-checks now.
