Resolving UAC Issues

Note: There aren't actually any issues with UAC. It does not lag, and the screenshot system works fine. However, here are some "fixes" for various "problems" that have recently been reported.
Fix black/gray in-game screenshots:
If your in-game ET screenshots are black or gray, here are some things you could try to fix it:- Play ET in windowed mode (r_fullscreen 0)
- "Disable visual themes" and "Disable desktop composition" for both ET and UAC (Right-click each shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility tab)
- Turn off anti-aliasing (graphics card settings)
Fix lag:
If you happen to lag while UAC is scanning, here are some things you could try to fix it:- "Disable visual themes" and "Disable desktop composition" for both ET and UAC (Right-click each shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility tab)
- Turn off anti-aliasing (graphics card settings)
- Disable PunkBuster or simply delete your "pb" folder
- Select "Remove freez lag" in your UAC settings
If you cheat, you're not going to change settings because black ss = hiding cheat.
If you dont cheat, you also dont need to because you have no reason to get them to show because there's nothing to see. Might as well leave it out.

Or it could be something decent that blocks most oldschool hacks (like tzac did).

Why would he anyways, look UAC gets offered as an option and half the comments are pointless whine so I can understand his point of view regarding our community..

I have experienced 0 lag with UAC so far, and I play on a laptop.
Also, dont take is personal, at least you doing something, but its not solution for me. At least I dont play competetive, so fuck it. Later on my desktop PC ill try your solutions, but I dont believe its gonna help me.

If there's more than 10 "personal" screenshots, you're doing it wrong. Stop minimizing so much.
Right, due to the fact that you are currently banned for cheating on TZAC.
Im actually talking about future, not nowdays. Im banned till another month as fas as I remember. And I wont play official matches ever again, due to other reasons.
If its taking SS while my game is minimized, yeah thats pretty weird I think. Be honest that just crap way to detects cheaters, mostly its detects some lolcontent. Opiate got banned for using whitelight.exe in memory, Im sure if he would just inject dll. everything would be clean. Actually I got banned on TZAC just because chaplja made really good anticheat, or just actually one great update .
And as I said above you make a great job about doing smth for active community, but just this AC is crap, and im pretty sure you know that.
Until an alternative anticheat is found, we will use UAC.

There are options if you explore them sure, but it seems some people prefer to sit back demand and point the finger at 'stupid and/or wrong' decisions.
On this poll is what majority of ET players think about UAC.
I think so if we want keep ET game alive, must be respect majority of ET comunity.
Also razz write so half of queens team do not want use it.
No, those poll results only reflect how those who voted feel about UAC, not how the majority of ET players feel. The options are quite biased anyway. :)
If we want to keep ET alive, we need to use an anticheat. :)
Queens will 100% be playing in EC this season with UAC. :)
