Effective immediately, all players must have their UAC User ID registered to their CB account. Whether you use UAC or not, you are required to have a UAC account with your ID registered on CB before playing any ClanBase ET cup or ladder matches.
You can register your UAC User ID here. It can be found by visiting your profile on the UAC website or checking the bottom-left corner of your UAC window.
UAC will be optional in all ClanBase ET ladder matches. You can choose whether or not to enforce UAC when challenging another team on the ladder.
However, keep in mind that players must still have their UAC User ID registered to their account. You will not be able to send challenges or apply to join ladders if your team does not meet the GUID requirements.
UAC will be mandatory in all 4 cups in the ClanBase ET EC/OC Fall 2013 season.
If you don't wish to use UAC for some reason, then please let us know so we can remove your team from the signups.
As always, feel free to ask questions or make suggestions. I would simply like to ask that you at least try UAC out before judging it, though. Do not base your opinions only on what others have said! The majority of those who are upset about UAC have not even bothered to download the anticheat or read how it works. No, it's not perfect, but it's the only option available at the moment.

UAC can still be used in ladder matches; in fact, I'd prefer if every team used it! It is simply not required. Is that a bad thing?
EC is more "important" than the ladders. -> UAC is mandatory in EC.
Well you can say that you don't care about them and it's their choice to not use it. Okay. But also you might think that it's just few teams, but without these few teams that "boycott uac", in this condition we have there gonna be max 8 teams in this EC, and even half of them gonna be pretty bad choices. Which makes EC not important at all.

Tell me this: Why don't you like UAC? Why won't you use it? Give me some good reasons for not using UAC, because I still haven't received any. All I see is players calling it "shit" without even bothering to download it or learn how it works.

As explained many times already, screenshots are only taken while UAC is scanning. If you only allow UAC to scan while you are actually playing ET and simply resist the urge to minimize frequently during matches, then there is no way UAC can take any "personal" screenshots. Even if it does, screenshots are not uploaded until after you stop scanning, and you can immediately delete any "personal" ones. And if that still bothers you, then perhaps you should consider finishing your bank transactions before playing with UAC.
You are not forced to delete anything. UAC only scans for cheats, and if what you say is true about how easily bypassable it is, who cares? Why is it an issue if you can bypass it anyway?

The only thing is that it scans more then ET/Running processes. I have nothing to hide but im sure i will forget to move something that will flag me as cheater which i never been in ET.
It doesn't do that though! UAC only takes screenshots when scanning and only of that which is displayed on your screen at the time. Any "personal" screenshots can be deleted immediately by you.
I have not experienced any lag with it, and neither has the majority of those using it, so I don't think it is an issue.
If you don't want to use UAC, fine, but please don't base your decision on what other misinformed individuals are saying. :)
