Still think EC/OC should be run without an anticheat? Those pathetic Polish guys you asslick on a daily basis can't even resist cheating and name-faking in a one-day cup, not to mention an entire cup season.

At least we now know why some players are so strongly opposed to using UAC. :)))

TZAC was shut down, so no, I don't think it's a very good option. It was pointless to keep it running anyway when chaplja could so easily sabotage it by overtaking accounts and banning innocent players without us being able to stop him.

It wasn't just those who didn't bother to change their passwords. He found a way to ban any account at any time without even having to log in to the account. There is nothing we could have done about it.

The decision to shut TZAC down was a mutual one made by both me and Marcus.

what? uac has been running for 8 years, and supports multiple games. why is it shit? On the other hand tzac was running for 2 years or so, banlist was rarely updated (2-3 months waiting for a list) people could cheat through cups, it was written by a cheat-coder, who was not reliable at all, asking for money then disappearing for months, he promised so many things, then did nothing, screenshots were turned off, no tzac 3 etc. I have the feeling he was selling cheats while he did tzac also (nice way to get money, first ask money for his anticheat support then get money from selling tzac proof cheats), its brainless to trust in a guy who was/is coding cheats.

because it barely detects anything, has lots of people against it and is utterly useless overall. next AC will be made by polak btw. polak that is cheating in random 6on6s on daily basis.

Simply because several people injected random cheat dll. files into ET while its scanning, they are still not banned. Just because UAC aint working.
