ET Win 7 AMD stuttering

Hi guys
I installed ET to give the old girl a go the other day
Trouble is I keep getting frames dropping, giving a stuttering effect when I'm playing.
When I had this problem before it was fixed by setting ET.exe core affinity in windows, but I haven't any success from doing that so far.
Does any else have any ideas?

search for amd cpu multi-core fix
probably to do with punkbuster processes or clamav
will investigate tomorrow...
looking forward to playing tomorrow
u solved sound issues in ET ?
r_primitives "2" or disable threaded optimizations wen_ders_nvidia running*
otherwize "pb_sleep 500;pb_lan 1;net_restart"
