Only players who aren't supposed to be good stand out because of cheats these days. Players who've been using aimbot and wallhacking for the past month don't stand out that much, that's why you will only see players like m1tja and vatu getting banned.
well I am talking about my experiences playing people. I am surprised that mitja + vatu were banned because I wasn't really impressed when playing against them. truly enough, if someone like phyzic or upload started using a humanised bot it would be pretty hard to tell because they are both strong aimers.
M1tja only cheated in one or two offi's that were recorded on GamesTV. These matches have already been cancelled.
You are right about phyzic and upload, for all we know they both have been cheating all these years with humanized aimbot and we couldn't tell the difference, because we accepted the fact that they aim like this.
I don't suspect either of them mainly because they were playing actively and good in the era where all of the actual obvious cheaters quit or got banned. :D when SLAC was first introduced the active 3on3 community pretty much halved and it was so noticeable for me. some guys decided to stay who thought they could still cheat while using SLAC (like it wouldn't detect anything). examples are Res and jaran who'd been cheating for years.
but personally I only suspected 4 players of cheating from the entire of 2010 - 2012 and all of those ended up getting busted, other than that I totally accepted it when someone was aiming well on the server. :P SLAC/TZAC was really good until chaplja screwed it all up.
I personally think there's still enough people left to ban, I don't know why all these guys havn't been banned yet. I think it has something to do with submitting demo's to Clanbase (people are too lazy to do so).
SLAC was a very good anticheat while still used for the right goals. I don't think UAC can provide the same quality, that's why there's still some cheaters left, and will be playing with cheats until banned by demo, or a new AC which can detect cheats.

not as far as i know, but there never has been. :D Killerboy & Bulldog used to ban people because of demo all the time, they don't write an essay explaining why the ban was neccessary but they do provide a download link for the demo a player was banned with.
I dont think it would be a huge extra effort to upload the demo and the time stamps. it would make your "secret gathering" a bit more transparent. and if you think its too much effort, I will gladly do it.
