by riva tuner or similar programs you can force your picmip to a higher value than locked in ET, although I don't see too much of a reason why this is forbidden as long as trees are still visible like in the screenshot
Because at least to me, overall texture is a lot simpler and it could give u better view over the enemies in general, also duels and such should be easier than with more complex texture.
r_picmip 20 - Found in sg_hook <-- and etpro aimbot. Normally without a hook you can't get past r_picmip 3 as it is inforced, who ever you took a screen shot of is a cheater and someone is a "good" player on your server?
having textures like this whilst maintaining trees to be normal is only achievable with cheats as far as i know
