I might make a comeback and rape the scene again but is their even a scene to rape? Do we still use punkbuster? Still ladders?

Last org to support ET is ClanBase. But CB has been down for like 1 month already now?

The current anticheat is UAC, although it will be shut down on the 1st of January. EvenBalance no longer supports ET, but PB is still being used on many public servers. Developers of mods like silEnt and N!tmod have also incorporated their own AC into their mods/servers. There are plans for a new anticheat by TrackBase, but I don't know much about it.
ClanBase still runs cups and ladders for ET; however, we are currently having problems with GGL which has caused the website to be down for over two weeks now, and it is likely that it will not return (or that it will come back online then simply go down again soon after). ESL does not support ET any more. Other organizations such as Crossfire, GamesTV, and YCN Hosting are still active in ET and do a lot to contribute.
Like I said, it could be worse. There are still some good people around who are working hard every day to help keep this game alive for as long as possible.
I was part of a community playing the game No one lives forever 2 until its very end. There were about 30-40 active players seperated in about 4 clans. We had loads of fun the last couple of years with new players coming on and off but after the master server eventually went down there was obviously not much to do.
I'll continue to have fun with ET like that until its very end as well.
The majority of those who call ET dead have quit playing the game or were never very successful in it (or both) and just want to believe that it is no longer alive so that they feel better about having quit. No one can deny that ET is dying, but to call it "dead" is literally inaccurate because there are plenty of players who still play.
