Building a budget gaming PC

Hello dear CF friends,

a friend of mine needs a new PC but he's not sure about which parts to get; and I'm not up-to-date at all.
His budget is 500€ MAX 520. Can you please help us out? And where should we order the parts, taking into account it should be delivered in Belgium?

amazon. Pc part prices are pretty much almost the same everywhere.

On the contrary, the number is often kept the same and they change the currency; which makes it easy +500€ while 531USD is 380€.

Currency doesn't really matter in the end, imagine that dollars equal euros. Added better and more expensive cpu and gfx if he needs them, he might also wanna get a better mobo and PSU, they should get the price to about 550-600 E if I'm not mistaken if your friend gets some more cash in the meantime. But that's assuming he is building a pc from scratch.

I suggest waiting a few weeks before purchasing anything, prices are inflated due to holiday demand.

R9 270 = improved 7870 and cheaper, only logical choice.
And that power supply is just bad.
