Buy Zowie, them two you mentioned are more expensive and worse than Zowie mice, but I cant tell you which to buy, since I dont have any experience...

well if you take urtier and h8m3 as a valid source, accourding to them, if you use high sense and high resolution, then you should use high dpi which mean i'm right.
anyway, listen to me as a valid source = dpi = more accuracy = better.
thats why the competition in the field is to create more high dpi mice.
regarding the negative acceleration, never saw it in my own eyes, but you can "disable" it.
there is a reg file for that, i used it back in the old days.

Well most of these mx518 have rubber at side, where u have mouse4-5 buttons as well, and with time, that rubber material tends to drop down / gets fkedup a bit, so i just removed most of it, or at least the parts i could.
How did u remove the glides, i assume they re just glued up right? and then u just clear that area and put new ones up?
Also where did u order new ones?
I used a scissor to remove the glides and then put alcohol on that area and put in the new ones. Just googled mx518 mouse feet and ordered the cheapest ones.
