Logitech G400s

Im just wondering has anyone tried this mouse / owns it currently? My old mx518 is getting pretty worn off and im thinking of getting new one, so i simply though of checking out this "replacement" for it, G400s, but wondering if its any decent with the stuffs they added?

Also i wonder, which are the most comparable mice with mx518 when it comes to shape, feel, play, size and which pads are the best for it as well.

Had normal G400 with QCK+ and was pretty cool with that, just after like a year the cable was started messin up. G400s is the same, but just allowed for higher DPI (from 3600 to 4000) anyway its the same. I suggest. :)
The mouse that I haven't received and probably never will :'(

From what I understand G400 is a really nice replacement if you had a mx518. Don't know about the G400s though, the price difference between the two seems pretty questionable to me.
was using MX518 for couple of years, switched to Ikari about 3 years ago. After year and a half, double click problem occurred (in Ikari) and it got more frequent until I decided to get a replacement (I managed to fix the problem but I gave Ikari to my mom since I already had another mouse). Year ago I bought G400, since it is exactly same as MX518 shape-wise. Unfortunately, I damaged the cable two weeks ago and it kept randomly disconnecting. I sent it for repairs and ordered G400s. I was surprised by the price difference between the G400s and its predecessors - almost double the price. As for the shape G400s = G400 = MX518. The difference is in painting and sensors - and I must say I like G400s more than I did G400. Maybe it has something to do with Puretrak Talent, which is not regular black cloth pad, but tracking with G400 wasn't as smooth as I was used to. I have G400s for a week now and it feels just right, I am able to pull out smoother and more precise movements.
Which is the end pad that u are using currently then?

g400 was good until it broke (and i dont use mice in a manner that should break them) no idea whats new in the g400s though
I had the mx518 , I really liked it but then I went afk or smth for a long time and gave it to stoner , then I came back and bought the g400, gotta tell you man for me it felt totally different, didnt like it and it broke in less than 6 months anyways, so I bought the deathadder and thats it. Even if the shape is supossed to be the same, for me it wasnt..I dunno , felt like another cheap mouse for me....if you want a replacement for the mx518 just get another mx518....there are still pleny on ebay ;)
I have had mx510, mx518, g400, g400s (as g400 broke).

g400s has a few go faster stripes making it look a bit crappy but works fine and has 1000hz in drivers.
I've got g400 works great
got it also , nothing changed , also had mx510 - 518 - 400 - 400s now .. all fine ..... even if all had cable broken :o
i own the G400s too, i like it. Had the mx510 and the mx518 before. the G400s is nearly the same
i dont know if the cable problem is solved but in my opinion the cable is even thinner as the old cable.
