Who ever made that ET installer should be fired. I have heard from numerous people that the installer makes ET totally broken. Legendary FinlandHardyRah downloaded the installer and had 150 lagspikes every 5 sec. Then I told him to uninstall that piece of shit and download files manually. And like a charm lags dropped.

Other problems I have heard is huge fps drops. Rumor says also that FinlandAltsi had to buy a new computer coz the installer broke his PC.

some had that kind of problems..some not..i cant say why...

some users just deleted the pb folder and it worked perfectly others had to use a sound_restart command (cant remember the exact code..)

Told u, just use my tutorial of manually downloading game and patches, works like a charm, without any crap added.

This. And yes, i know some portuguese dudes that downloaded from CF link and they couldnt play due to the fps drops.

I just dont like to dl anything custum made at first place, as u are not aware neither do u know what is included in that pack, which settings are changed and god knows what else, reason i have always since the beginning of et, used manual et.exe and patching to avoid any stuffs like that.

Well I just had to delete the TZAC folder and whatever profiles were in there and it was fine. :P

Add this command /pb_sleep 500 and/or delete PB folder (as someone said above) your problem is solved. I use the same et and I don't have lag spikes/fps drops

I always install ET manually, got ET folder with ET.exe, etpro 3.2.6, etpatch 2.60.exe and etpatch 2.60b files and my cfg, and I have never had any problems with ET.
