Here's a bit of an update on CyberGamer EU Enemy Territory!
New website
Last Friday, CyberGamer v5 was released with a new layout and many cool features. Check out the announcement on CG here. There are still plenty of bugs which need to be fixed, so please have patience.Ladders
The ladders are still going strong with an average of 15-20 matches being played every day. Over 100 teams are currently enrolled in the 3on3 and 6on6 ladders, and nearly 500 matches have been completed so far. Remember to read the rules before playing!CGAC
The CyberGamer Anticheat (CGAC) finally supports ET and is now mandatory in all ladder matches. Please read my newspost here for more information. Make sure you run it as admin and config your antivirus to allow CGAC. If you're having issues, check the CG forums or open a support ticket!Rule changes
As stated above, CGAC must be used in all ladder matches played on CyberGamer. By scrolling down on a match page, you can see which players are currently running CGAC along with all logs for that match. Because the only way to see which players are currently running CGAC in a match is by checking the match page, we have decided that mercs are no longer allowed in CG matches. Any player who is not on a team's roster or is listed as "INELIGIBLE" is considered a merc.Cup season
CyberGamer EU ET Season 1 is coming soon! We're waiting until bugs with CG v5 are fixed and players are used to the new website before we announce our first cup season. It should only take a week or two.CGAC for CG only?
Since CGAC is integrated in the CyberGamer website, it only works in CG matches. However, it is possible to run tournaments through CG via this page. The feature is not quite ready yet but should be soon!Bans
The democrew is still working hard and has helped us ban another cheater on CG. We've also caught smirzz trying to return while banned yet again. Take a look at the latest CG EU ET ban list:As always, if you think someone has cheated, feel free to send us the demo or link to the GamesTV replay along with timestamps, and we will look into it.
Stay tuned for CyberGamer EU ET Season 1!

so no mercs at all anymore? what if both teams agree on using a merc?
At least that's how it was on COD4 teams, but it was fine because mercs were allowed.
finally :))
Like (sorry forgot that nickname) the guy who made it said, that they/he's working on screenshots and some other things, any hints when it could happen?
Also you said, that cheating on NBS is something different than cheating in war, why does that ban say cheating on pub/irc war?
doesnt make sense ffs -> I catch cheater on NBS, I can provide his IP,guid + evidence (demo) of him cheating there, will it make him banned from CG?
We received a valid demo of smirzz cheating in an IRC war along with an IP from the server logs that matches to his CG account, so he was banned. If you have similar evidence of another player cheating, feel free to send it to us.
What I was referring to before about the difference between banning players on NBS and banning players on CG is that we actually have rules/policies to follow, ban appeals to deal with, etc. I know it seems quick and easy from your point of view, but it isn't.
This AC takes screenies and logs right, is there any way for people to see those themselves? Same thing with previous anticheat uac or w/e it was, I run multiple screens and I don't want my FB/work related screenshots out on the internet but this AC doesn't seem to allow me to check my screenshots for privacy 'breaches' :(
but newertheless thanks for taking your time to post this and for shaping the future of our et organisation
Additionally, packers such as Themida, which are very frequently used to pack your .exe and other binaries with (to avoid debugging primarily) are flagged as potentially harmful, because, again, viruses very often if not always are packed in the same way.
