I also got windows 8.1 and had fps drops when i downloaded et from crossfire but when i downloaded it somewhere else it worked fine

Uninstall 8.1, shit OS. I had -20/25% fps in CS:GO with it.

Had the same problem, only I had like 40 fps left. While my pc was able to get stable 125 fps.
COD ghost had no problems for me.
They said to me do: r_primitives 2, which did not work.

It didn't work. Rebooted, still not working.
I gave up, had other things to do.

Tried again after a week and suddenly, without doing anything, everything worked just fine. My fps were back.
Still have no clue what caused it to drop and what caused it to be fixed again, because I deleted everything which I've changed to get my fps back.

like i said, every 3rd day thers an fps journal :D

Stick with W8.1, these CF bros are so mad. Config tweakin'? drivers?
