W:ET giving me huge ping spikes

Just installed ET after 2 years.
While ingame my ping spikes like from stable 48 to 200 each 3 secs. Anyone knows whats wrong? Some networksettings ingame or such?

I have no problems with lag in other games.

Their location + where are you from?

I dont know if it's problem between countries or provides, but I (cze) have huge problems on UK / FR servers - either huge lag spikes and unstable ping, or big 90+ unstable ping...

Wireless? Yes, too bad. No, next step.
Network monitor? Unstable, check your programs running in the background. Stable, good its not your net.
Servers? Connection between countries can be a thing, if the problem is same in most servers its not that.
If none of the above, try another installer (there are some issues with installers giving weird spikes in either fps or ping). If that fails, make sure you have punkbuster disabled(unless you want ot play pb servers duh)

Problem still there, i dunno lol

Try a different ET installer. install it from scratch
