No sound in Et

Hello,
After a year or so I was trying to play on a pub again, but my sound doesnt work. It works fine in other games, windows, mp3, etc., but not for ET.
I have tried all kinds of things (reinstall, cvar_restart, snd_restart, other cfg's), but nothing worked :(
Does anyone has an idea?

well, ET doesnt come up in the Volume mixer :( All other programs do :(

try cvar_restart
Not sure what the default value of this is, but this is known to fuck up your sound.
Take 0.2, should be close to default.
