well, you could actually hear a sound of someone stepping forward when he was entering the cave. 2 seconds before jaN came around the corner the sound stopped, obviously mant had to be somewhere

listen exactly, there was a sound of someone going over something in front of jaN while he was the first to push out. Also there was no sound of someone falling down in exactly the moment the sound stopped (there were a few short before that) so the chance was high chance of mant crouching behind there (also even if he didn't hear exactly that sound, the sounds from below had pretty exactly the same direction)

he wasn't exactly aiming at the wall, as you can clearly see in kboy's .avi he was trying to aim at the upper edge and slightly overaimed it on the very first bullet due to the quick aiming
