CGAC - Version 1.4.3 Released

Main source

Quote by JonnToday marks the release of a new update for CGAC. This update introduces a number of new features, including Call of Duty 2 support, an in-game who's online display, and better anti-cheat functionality.

Unfortunately despite the previous implementation of an auto-updater and the promise that you'd no longer have to go through the process of manually updating, this update has seen a number of major back-end modifications, and as a result you will need to reinstall. We apologise for this minor inconvenience but with this improved functionality we can assure you it's well worth the download!

So what do these updates bring? With Call of Duty 2 support now implemented, players will have in-game screenshots captured and these, we hope, will be publicly viewable within the next week. Enemy Territory screenshot implementation will be implemented soon but due to the DirectX engine the game utilises, several modifications are needed to sufficiently implement this feature. In addition to this support, a BETA in-game who's online display has been implemented which may be activated by pressing Alt + P. Please note that this display can take up to one minute to initiate once in-game, and in the meantime it is recommended that you still check the website in addition as there are several known issues. We'll have these fixed as soon as possible.

You'll find the download link for version 1.4.3 here: http://eu.cybergamer.com/files/6605/. Please make sure you do the following steps to install the latest update:

  1. (Uninstall any previous version of CGAC).
  2. Download the installer from the link above.
  3. Extract the ZIP file.
  4. Make sure you have .NET framework 4.0 installed. If you do not have .NET framework 4.0 installed you can download it here.
  5. Run setup.exe from within the extracted folder.
  6. (Once installed, please head to your Settings (either the drop-down arrow top right or the 'Settings' button bottom right of your screen), click 'Profile, Games, and Forums', and then select 'Game IDs' - you'll find your auth key and user ID details there.)

This update covers all operating systems.

Delete all the files and run the installer, anything else will not work.
