i would say he is the best player at this world cup, when you talk about importance for the team and overall performance then who comes even close ?, i would say maybe Muller ( because he just exhausts the shit out of the opposing defence. but even then germany has enough players to fallback on.
Maybe james rodriguez but they didnt make it to the semis so im not gonna count him in.
Messi is important for his team but he isn't exactly playing stellar football.
