Unfortunately I don't have time atm, will check up on it in the evening (although I believe Oxy and zeKxa will be quicker :D), but lemme tell you one thing: When it comes to cpus, FUCK AMD, trust me, had enough heartbreaking experiences with it...
Weird, I've had some pretty amazing AMD experiences, like my phenom x4 is still going strong after being subjected to 110+ C for like a month before realizing my thermal paste had worn out. From what I understand they are dominating the low budget CPUs market, and that particular one is beastly and can even be compared to a i5.
Parent
No way that an fx-6300 is even close to an i5
Parent
Sorry I forgot to add while overclocked, that's where it (supposedly) shows its true potential.
Parent
you can easily oc amd but it won't really give you any benefits because already at 60 degrees amd is starting to miscalculate from my experience
Parent
Hmm yeah temperatures are a huge factor for me, greek summers are not that fun when it comes to cpus overheating.
Parent
Exactly, while intel cpus tend to work properly till 70-80 degrees celcius, although that also surely isn't healthy for them over a long period of time as well
Parent
Perfectly fine. They're built to withstand up to 110°C, in some cases more, others a bit less. They'll shut themselves off at around the 115 mark. But you'll have absolutely no issues with running into the 80s on full load.
Parent
doesn't this decrease the life time drastically though if you heat it up till 90 degrees? By that temperature my i7 4770k started to fuck things up btw
Parent
No. It's not optimal but they're designed to withstand these kind of heats. Though, they do throttle after a certain point.
Parent
Easily oc and no benefits, sounds about right. More fairy tales.
Parent
well, you can often get them up for a whole GHz but yet you won't really see benefits when benchmarking
Parent
Well, ain't it a fucking surprise that you like to feign good intentions, but never "have time" and never "check up on it" either.
Parent
Damn, will be tuff with 500€, especially if you plan to game with that computer...

I would probably go like this:

Intel Core i3 4150
Asus B85M-G 1150 socket
random 2x2Go DDR3 @ 1600Mhz
GeForce 750Ti 2Go
Seasonic G-Series 450W
SSD Crucial MX100 128Go
HDD Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1To
CPU cooler CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo
random entry level case

should be around 550€
Thanks for recommendations. Also, I'm curious if this is legit: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php and http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/

NP mate. Dunno about these websites tho, i dont use these. But sometimes flat performances arent everything, you better read few reviews and stuff

I also gona build a new pc:
RAM: Corsair DIMM 8 GB DDR3-1600 Kit 78,90€
HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 1 TB 45,99€
GFX: MSI GTX760 OC Twin Frozr 2GB GDDR5 6008MHZ 219,90€
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4670K 199,90€
Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-Z97-D3H 112,90€

maybe some1 can also check this one :D and my question is I got a 750W power supply, do I need a stronger one or can I use my old one?
you can still use this PSU easily
Parent
PC won't give you the skillz with orianna!

XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

eund.
Parent
Depends on the brand and type PSU
Parent
be quiet power zone

Don't go AMD. I am a AMD fanboy but there is no reason to buy AMD, no upgrade path. With Intel you can upgrade to broadwell.

I would not buy an i3. Pentium g3258 is a better choice. Because you can overclock it easy, on many budget boards as well. I have mine on 4.7Ghz single core performance is amazing, higher than i7. I also delidded it with a razer and using direct die cooling without ihs, temps 60 max. If you have the money you should buy i5.
I agree with this. I've got one of those myself in my HTPC, absolutely love it. Given it's very low cost, the performance these little fuckers throw out is outstanding.
Parent
Do you need a ginormous cooling system to overclock it by that much without throttling it? Room temperatures can get to like 30 degrees in the summer here. Otherwise, that does sound sexy, but it's very cost inefficient for me, and I'm not really computer savvy.
Parent
4.5 can be done easy, without high end cooling. Power usage on that speed is around i5.
Parent
i've just built the following
i5 4670k
raidmax smilidon chasis
gskill 8 gig 1600mhz
seasonic psu 550 watts gold certified
evga gtx 770 superclocked w/ acx cooling
wd 1tb blue 7200rpm

THE PC IS A BEAST... no lie.. run every game at 1080p
much more expensive than the money hes ready to put in it
