1080p et ?

is it possible to play et at 1080p monitor ?
otherwise all the other resolutions look super blurry for me ...
i used custom resolution at 1920 x 1080 however the screen ratio is still shit is it not possible to get a 16:9 / 16:10 ?

It's possible, I do have 1920 x 1080p monitor and it works, it's just too shit for me... r_mode 6 all d way

seta cg_fov "136" <- adjust accordingly because fov looks different on widescreen resolutions

yeh but i get black borders on the side of the screen because its not fking 16:9 :/ so it looks like a square shape gameplay for me while my screen is widescreen

You also need to set the max r_displayrefresh you screen can get.

thats how my cfg looks like:
seta r_customwidth "1920"

seta r_customaspect "0"
seta r_displayRefresh "120"

You are wrong :D It's possible for some years now. I used to play with 120 fov at r_mode 6 or 8.. since i moved to widescreen i changed to its equivalent, 136 fov

It is, 140's the max. It was raised with a global config few years back, why the hell ever.. I don't know. Though I never saw a reason to use that high of a fov, or even 120 back then. I still use my 105 fov from 10 years ago, even after I made the switch to 1080p.
