Journals
Greetings all,
It's been years I last wrote a journal entry, but i was thinking and then i came to the conlusion of sharing my thoughts.
I was getting all nostalgic on how f***** awesome ET was (not is, was) that I made a top three of the best games i've ever played in mi life. Here goes:
1) Enemy Territory (PC): without a shadow of a doubt the best game i've ever played. i'm no games expert but i know a great game when i see one. The mix of teamplay, shooting, objective, community work (crossfire , ETTV, ..) was just amazing. I've burnt hours , days , weeks , years playing this game and it was just .. amazing. I even got to know people all over Europe which shows how great the community was. Dont know about now though.
2) Mafia: city of lost heaven (PC): if you haven't played this game, download it straight away. It will run on the shittiest computer because it's quite old but it's just an incredible game. The story line would give any hardcore gamer a boner and for me personally this game was way ahead of it's time. Plain brilliant.
3) Bioshock I (PC): I only played the first and second bioshock, but I thought the first was the best. I don't exactly remember how i got to playing this game but i was hooked after about the first 30 minutes, despite the game not really being my genre with all the fantasy aspects and all. I spoke about this game with a friend who hadn't played it either and to my surprise he told me the next week that he started playing it and it was awesome. Because it is indeed an awesome game.
Narrowly missing out : Call of Duty MW3 (because i burned about 30 days of gameplay on it on ps3 :D) , The last of Us (ps3) : are you really asking? read the reviews
How about your top 3?

How about your top 3?
SP: FarCry 3, RTCW, Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein: The new order, Call of Jaurez: Gunslinger, Doom 2&3, Bulletstorm, Diablo 2, Heroes III, IV, Warcraft, AoE
2) Lineage 2 : That game was just an awesome grind fun for me.. i played it alot in the past on low rate servers wich means you have to spend weeks to get to lvl 20 and months to get even 40... and the community was also so big that you met so many guys in every city/place and i guess that game has the largest map... that game aint so fun anymore since its almost dead.. alot of players play it still but on private servers and are split.Back to topic : that game was just fun :D.
3) Guild Wars 1 : by far one of the best MMORPG style games i played.. the story line the videos and playing it with it own style was awesome.Max lvl 20 and it took ages to get their and you had alot to do and missions to solve with friends with an story line that was just awesome! you just wanted to know what is going to happen next :).Even when you reached 20 and you had all missions done the game was just about to start.. grinding for Elite-SKills or doing dungeons or farm weapons... or try to reach titles that you could earn.
dat english tho :P
But for me cod4 also was nice times ;D

ET
- RtCW (and ET, but rtcw wins it)

SP:
- Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker
- Red Alert 2
- Limbo / Kentucky Route Zero
MP: ET (the one and only)
still playing it from time to time :D
Really, this game is the masterpiece of all masterpieces. This is the game that made me love science fiction since I was 9 years old. The best game of all time.
2. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
3. Chrono Trigger
4. Half-Life
5. Final Fantasy III
6. DOOM
7. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
8. Super Mario World
9. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
10. Goldeneye
Fuck lists, I can go on and on.
Also, final fantasy saga, ET, QL...
2. World of Warcraft (hah nerd!), Honestly, i don't give a shit, it (was) a great game, hopefully WoD will make it more pleasant to play again.
3. Heroes of Newerth or MW3, much laughs have been shared via comms on these with friends.
not in any particular orded:
skyrim

onimusha 4: dawn of dreams (Would be top 3 but decided to hold those spots for pc games.)
onimusha 2: samurai's destiny
gta vc/sa
empire earth II
rtcw
Theres some that come to mind right now. Loads and loads of hours "wasted" on these goldies.
1. Enemy Territory
2. Call of Duty 4
3. GTA 4 (haven't played 5 yet, so I can't really say whether it would be in my top 3 or not)
These games aren't necessarily the "best" games graphic or content wise, but I have had my most enjoyable years (gaming wise) playing these games. There are other games that I really enjoyed (Payday2, Skyrim, FarCry3, Borderlands2), but the people whom I've played with (referring to my top 3) have made it so much better.
2. FM
3. The witcher 2
1 QL
2 ET
3 FM2014

2.LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
3.LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

2. Dransik. Old 2D mmorgp with awesome PK modes and shitload of leveling to do :3 made first at -97, still online but dont know about players tho. time spent in that like 5 years.
3. Age of Empires 2, I probably dont have to say anything about this game. Played since kid and still shit.
2. I like warsow also but it felt like it missed something and I felt like the community was meh after the first pre-release cups.
3. Quake series or Doom series? I liked both alot.
1. ET & RTCW for teamgames.
2. FEAR combat shortly after.
3. and then..... BF2? idk
1. Phantasy Star Online series. RPG Casual and awesome.
2. The Elder Scrolls series.
3. Neverwinter Nights series
1. Anarchy Online. MMORPG.
2. ROSE Online.
3. Asherons call 1 & 2, would have been awesome if they would have had more players.
1, - Objective\Teamplay: W:ET. There is nothing that could be compared with ET's reviving, rushes, crossfires, combined with tons of spam and irritating tricks, etc.
2,- Solo: Quake III, for me it is better game than ET. Faster, requires more skill and more challenging, true game for 1on1.
(LoL is a nice alternative for ET)
Single Player:
Final Fantasy with Squall, Zell and some other obvious choices you will mention instead of me.
2. Stronghold (Normal and Crusader)
3. Age of Empires 2
I played very often "Conker's Bad Fur Day" and "Perfect Dark" with my friends on the N64.
Though I 100% agree on AoE
Well you can play chess online too against other opponents so its like a multiplayer game, yes it counts :|
Ever tried Dune?
C&C is just a rip off of Dune.

:P
MP: CSb5.2, Day of Defeat, ET, RTCW, UrT, CoD2
SP: The Elder Scrolls series, The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, Jagged Alliance series, HoMM3... and something from the nostalgy section: Power Blade (NES), OMF2097
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VXtO_sVHMnU
1. ET, best times ever
W:ET
AoE2
(Borderlands, HoMM3, Amnesia, Portal, Dune 2, Endless Space, Anacreon)
2. Pong
3. gothic 1
ET is a really good game too, fast paced, skill based, gameplay wise i would put ET above CS and CoD, but cs:go-s support is really nice, easy to find "wars" so easier to play it. Wish ET had this support also :/
There are other online games i really enjoyed, some addicting ones:
there were a game called jamlegend. Online version of guitar hero, and that game fuckin' rocked. Too bad its died.
curvefever is also a cool game, when u just wanna spend some time its nice to play that.
Singleplayer games i really enjoyed are Gothic II and RTCW single also liked the CoD series too.
SP:
Megaman X2 was the greatest thing ever it came, I remember thinking that graphics will never get better than this.
Final Fantasy XII, a piece of art, loved it.
Gran Turismo, damn it was sweet when it came out.
Civilization 2 & 3, spend so much time with them. Haven't played new ones that much, should be good though.
Every GTA.
1) ET
2) CS:S
3) Starcraft 2 / Borderlands 2
Offline games:
1) Red Alert 1
2) DOOM (on Sega Saturn)
3) Age of Empires II
MP tends to be way more exciting than SP in strategies :)
et
lol
gta
aoe
2. Civilization series
3. XCOM : enemy unknown
nowdays its been csgo and hearthstone tho and its not because they're good games
Here's my list, pretty much all of the games are nostalgia from my childhood but I decided to only pick games that I could still see myself enjoying today. For example I decided to leave out Goldeneye for this reason. Just couldn't see myself playing a first-person shooter on a console now as opposed to when I was a kid and only had a Nintendo 64.
FPS: ET & Q3.
MMORPG: City of Heroes.
Fighting: Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, Super Smash Bros', Power Stone.
Platformer: Banjo-Kazooie, Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, Spyro the Dragon.
JRPG: Dragon Quest (VIII) Series, Pokemon.
Arcade: Metal Slug, Sega Marine Fishing.
Sports: FIFA.
Racing: Mario Kart 64.
Other: Mafia: City of Lost Heaven, Star Fox 64.
ET
Drakensang Online
2) gta 3/fifa 2002
3) ql
nothing to add
