ohurcool's Speed Cup #2

After a successful first edition earlier this month, I've made plans to run another ET speed cup on Wednesday.

Date: Wednesday, 19th of November
Time: 19:00 CET

General Information

A speed cup is a tournament in which players participate in solo speed runs on popular competition maps to see who can set the fastest times. All you have to do is set a time on your own as quickly as possible, taking whichever route you think is best.

All runs will take place on the same server with players taking turns setting times. After all participants have set a time on a map, the half with the fastest times will advance to the next round on the next map. Three rounds will be played on three different maps until there are only two players left. The final round will be broadcasted on ETTV with each player selecting a map from the maplist.

Rules

- Players who are banned on CyberGamer are not allowed to participate.
- Although there is only room for 16 players, additional signups will be accepted as backups.
- No selfkills or resets are allowed. Each player has only one attempt per map.
- In the final, a cointoss will decide the third map if the score is tied after two maps.
- All players must meet on IRC - #cg.et - around 18:55 CET and idle there during the cup.
