notebook help pls.

Hi!

I own a Tosiha Satellite L350 laptop, it's very worn, it's about 6 years old. Did it's job just fine until this very day. When all the sudden it started to shut down out of nowhere, so I downloaded coretemp to check the tempretatures, and yeah, whenever I turn on it's already 60 celsius.

So I disassembled, cleaned the vents and the whole laptop with the heatsinks. Replaced the paste on the heatsinks. Now whenever I turn on the notebook the temperature rising even higher, 80 celsius right at the start, and just shuts down after opening the browser.

I did disassemlbed it like 3 times by now, everything is where it supposed to be.

Can anyone help me please?

Thanks.

I've tried different amount of pastes , I did disassemlbed it like 3 times by now. I don't think it's the amount. Could be quality? I use grey one on desktop PC, but I'm not at home right now and they game me some white paste in the local PC shop.

Definitely smells like a thermal paste gone wrong, assuming the heatsinks are clean.
Definitely sounds like a "yeah, you shouldn't have done that yourself".
