Hello men,
I have a problem, and I don't know the answer.
I have a g500, and it has been fine for ages - seems to work well, and I enjoy rolling nerds every single day. It works fine when I am not palying ET.
However, recently when I paly ET it is a bit erratic in its movements, eg. I go to snap to another target and will get some weird FPS drop and it feels almost like laggy mouseacceleration, and i miss the target completely.
I am experimenting putting ET on different cores (I have laptop, but i7)
my mouse settings are currently DPI: 800, polling:125, sens in it is like 2.2 or smth
please help friends, I can't roll HBC with these shits in my cfg.

Why 125 polling rate for godsake
The best are 500hz or 1000hz. 500 is even more pro for SOME players, but u cna google why, if u want :P
ABout ur problems, I found the solution (for me) yesterday:
Ive made a bat file in my wolfenstein directory to force high core priority. Of course u should use one core.
Ive wrote:
cd/d "E:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
start/high ET.exe +set fs_game ETpro
Than Ive written this as mongol.bat
The diffrence is HUGE for me. Ive heard ofc about changing priority,but never seen big diffrence, so last couple of months I havent used it. I remember that I was changing core used by et and the priority during watching some old bobikas ettv demos, so I tried some things up, but the advantage wasnt noticeable for me.
Right now my game is smooth, fast loading maps and overall better for me. IDK why, this game is fucked up for me lastly.
One question: when did u notice ur problems? week ago? maybe some windows update made sth, cuz I couldnt play at all this weekend. I experienced unsmooth and in some way lagging game. Now it is fine, so try it bitch! xD
put in:
cd/d "E:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
start/high ET.exe +set fs_game ETpro
and write as a bat file: for example nismonoob.bat
Whats important, of course first line should include placement of ur ET.exe file. My Et folder is on partition E, so there is cd/d "E:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory. If u got this on C:, it should be:
cd/d "C:\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory
