New Monitor help!

Hi guys,

Im planning to buy a new monitor since mine is kinda old. Im thinking to buy a 120 hertz screen. Only my question is if you notice a difference between an 60 or +120 hertz screen and if its worth it?

Any suggestions?

Budget 300 max and around 24 inch ( not bigger )

love you

but is it worth to spend more money on an 120+ hertz screen? is the difference that big?

In CSGO the difference is very noticeable. Can't say how it is with ET, I haven't really played it since I got new monitor :)

even bigger.

these screens are both actually 144HZ

BenQ XL2411Z
people who start to play with 120hz can't go back to 60 hz after that ^^
120 Hz or more is just the way to go in 2015, if you do any gaming :l Not that they cost that much more.
gotta ask, is the difference so big between 60hz and 120hz? Never have used anything above 75, and my current monitor is giving 60hz only, i feel completely fine with it and maybe even better than with the 75hz, this one got only 1ms input lag though when the other one had 16ms x)

Not that big of a difference in ET. In QL with railgun it's much more significant, because you need to be much more accurate and quicker to react than in ET. 120 Hz feels nicer, it's just that much smoother. The skillboost effect is rather small, sometimes even overrated. But yeah if you ever need a monitor go for 120 Hz if you plan to play anything. And if you swap to 120 Hz flat monitor make sure your gfx card can handle 120 Hz so you don't need to buy a computer as well, like I did . _.

Hehe, maybe I will stick with this 60hz since I dont play anything else than ET from fps online games :) Thanks

Think i would get the viewsonic 144hz or the LG 144hz
benq xl2411z

mine came with v3 firmware, really nice monitor other than the contrast/blacks aren't too deep but doesn't matter for gaming.
