ET stretched?

Not sure why I can't get it working but tried r_mode -1 and r_custom.... and can't get ET stretched as it'll only be on blackbars.

Can't find a decent fov for 1080p playing as models are a bit fucked up so wanted to try r_mode 8 for example.

you have to make sure your monitor isn't scaling when it detects a certain aspect ratio. play around with the buttons on your monitor and you should be able to turn it off.

Somehow my display options are disabled on the monitor (xl2411z) so couldn't change it. Will check some other menus

i had some issue in the past and found the solution somewhere in NVIDIA settings, you may want to look it up there but thats just a guess.

nvidia or amd gfx card? i had to tick something in my amd settings to get it stretched

Got same monitor :D change to Full with the buttons on it also check nvidia control panel Display > Adjust desktop size and position and click Full screen

Rmode 8 stretched is shit on ET though imo :S everything looks far away and weird xD

I thought the same for 1080p, though I found that 97 fov atm feels much nicer.
Will try a few different r_modes then!
