Two big announcements from GDC which are relevant to FPS fans:
First, Unreal Engine 4 is now completely free (aside from revenue share), no more subscription required. While the subscription fee was already peanuts for game developers before, this news is still huge as it enables modders or map makers to download the engine for free and create content for UE4 games.
Second, Valve is releasing Source 2 and it will be completely free for developers. :o
This is going to be interesting.

all that the ut4 populated servers have been ded/red the last two weeks during the times I can play, hope this will change that :^D
