LAN Enschede

Hey,

I would love to go to the LAN as spectator but I have quite a challenge..
I have trial exams at 08.00 monday morning the 20'th. My bus back to Copenhagen will depart from Amsterdam, Stationsplein 3 DUIVENDRECHT at 07.00 Sunday morning. My question is therefor:

Is anyone going to Amsterdam saturday evening or very early sunday morning from Enschede? If you go Saturday evening it could be nice to have a place to sleep over as well in or near Amsterdam from saturday till sunday,

I can pay for what expensive there will be.

The last train on Saturday leaves Enschede Drienerlo (station for Cinestar/WZZRD) at 23:08 (arrival 01:42) and the first train on Sunday leaves at 07:38 (arrival 10:00). Driving from Enschede to Amsterdam also takes nearly two hours excluding traffic, so unless someone wants to drive you there at 4-5 in the morning Saturday is probably your best bet.

I would advice you to take the latest train back at Saturday night if you have to catch your bus the next morning.

Fill in for example:
  • Drienerlo
  • Amsterdam
  • 18-04-2015 - 23:00
  • "Vertrek" (means leaving, and "Aankomst" means arrival)

Then "Plan mijn reis"

Could be useful to have a Dutch guy helping you filling this in.

I was also wondering to take the last train to Amsterdam though it is an akward time to travel from Enschede to Amsterdam.

I will still try to cross my fingers and hope that there a is hero hiding in Enschede with a car and in the same situation as I. :o)

I think a taxi is too expensive actually. Wouldn't consider that as an option.

You could take the last train to Duivendrecht at 11-ish but it means waiting at the station for 6 hours before your bus leaves which is kinda shitty.
