Random Lag

Yo guys,

I couldnt find anything searching about it but i keep getting like lag spikes or like jitter when im playing or even watching ET these days. any idea whats up?

It just feezes for like 1 second for no reason

Maybe it's punkbuster. I had that once too. Think command is:

no_pb 1 or set no_pb 1

It could be your resolution settings. I remember aphesia having the same problem on LAN. He said his settings caused the problem.

If u have nvidia graphics card, then go to nvidia control panel -> Manage 3d settings -> Threaded optimization OFF and multi display/mixed GPU-acceleration SINGLE DISPLAY PERFORMANCE MODE, that helped for me when I changed from ATI to Nvidia and had those random spikes every 3 seconds for like 1 sec each. Hope that helps.
