since I recently noticed that someone made RTCW COOP, I would ask you, if the original game is required or we would be fine with downloaded ?

You need to full game, the download contains only the necessity to play the multiplayer, so that won't suffice, you need to find a full installer.

download this pack contains singleplayer pk3
