ET 2020

The year is 2020, Cybergamer has fallen, and with it it's anticheat. Rumors say that Team Hodor singlehandedly broke the website by having over 500 members for their clansonly officials. Cybergamer attempted to save it's operations by launching a kickstarter to expand their servers but alas failed to yield enough funds. Gifts for top donators included (but were not limited to) receiving the virusfree edition of cgac, choosing 3 people to get busted & a bonus dvd of ohurcool dancing in a bear costume.

ET falls into a steady decline for months after the fall of Cybergamer. Bobika takes it upon himself to do something useful for the community and makes a new anticheat named Bobika's UTTermost CRedible AntiCheat, or buttcr-AC for short. It is never proven if the new anticheat actually does anything, yet it manages to reduce the fps in Enemy Territory to a whopping 30 fps. Players that get announced on the Bustlist get a 10 minute timeout in the corner, a hug and a free entry coupon for the next LAN.


Crossfire.nu has also seen it's changes, the implementation of Crossfire 4.0 being it's major update. Some changes include upvotes, commentbots to ensure activity, push notifications to phones & facebook-connectivity. The push notifications to phones is a feature that can't be disabled. The community silently cries as Sebhes continues waking everyone up at 4 in the night by announcing random cups.

After the implementation of the commentbots Robaciek ragequit crossfire.nu. Before his departure he stated that "it is fucking bullshit" that his commentbot, made by ohurcool for satirical purposes, continuously received more upvotes than him. 2 Months before, Robabot scored an alltime classic with 639 upvotes by commenting "lol dis cup is shit & the admins are shit" on ET United Cup #22. The crossfire banner has also been overhauled, but is mostly covered by a huge picture of Sebhes crossing his arms.


In the summer of 2020 Sebhes announces a new LAN: ET Reborn Revived 4. The LAN will take place in Enschede for the 10th time. Merlinator promises to cast the event, but only if he is allowed to open 15 cs:advanced warfare boxes in between rounds on stream. sqzz smirks & cracks his knuckles as he reads the announcement. After years of winning consecutive tournaments he was able to buy his family a new house. He thanked the community as he was able to save 15k by replacing the heat insulation in the walls with mousepads. Earlier this year, sqzz amazed physicists by completely levating his keyboard off the table during the LAN Finals. His teammate mAus however, was fined for 300€ by their team Team SoloMid for saying n***** an astonishing 47 times in a 5 minute interview.


The LAN starts, with Team SoloMid comfortably making it out of the groupstage, with their lineup unchanged since the Anexis/Rockit-times. The only polish team, with abject, fragstealer & co also make it out of group A in 2nd place. As they Highfive the #FREEABJ tattoos on their arms are still clearly visible. In the other groups no mentionable upsets take place, other than idle.ee placing 5th in a group which only had 3 other teams. Outside, Ronner is seen attempting to frenchkiss R0ss before heading to the bar for beer #20. The finals, a rematch of old-times features Team SoloMid facing off against Team-Dignitas. Dignitas, with their current lineup Matias, olbaa, toNy, razz, Clown & Winghaven wants revenge for the last LAN. Team SoloMid was able to defeat Team Dignitas 8-0 coming from the loserbracket. The mappool for the finals is sos_secretweapon, erdenberg_b2, caen2, reactor_final, mlb_daybreak & supply. No surprises there, only the highest quality maps.
