ET.exe has stopped working.

are you using xfire? had it years ago when I started ET with xfire

maybe it's something to do with your resolution, have you tried r_mode -1 + r_customwidth and r_customheight, if that doesn't work then /q IceQ :)

You have a problem. When you open ET sometimes it says "ET.exe has stopped working" and that Windows is searching for a solution. Windows has searched long and hard but has not found a solution to my problem, so you thought you would ask the super duper professional eSport community crossfire.db.

this only happens sometimes, not all the time - sometimes if you try and open 3-4 more times it will just work fine
Haven't reinstalled for years, just copied the folders over each time you clean installed
thus, etmain folder is a fucking shit tip
play on a laptop, have done since 2008 so that isn't the problem
Play mostly on HBC professional eSports server (with ET professionals such as Belgium lago and Anonymous (HBC)BrigadierDog

Why do people upgrade to windows 10, while it's proven it's full of bugs AND security leaks.

No worm needed, Windows 10 already delivers us your information.

use brains: NEVER EVER update a windows version, when it's just out. Always wait for AT LEAST the first update. Like Windows 8.1 (not this a good example, but most security bugs were eliminated in 8.1).
