My old Siberia V2 mic has been showing signs of dying for quite some time and now it is hardly working. Any tips on which headset should I buy next? Thanks!

E: Also, I like how everyone's saying Sennheiser yet no one's giving a model. Yes, Sennheiser has some good headphones, but they have some terrible ones as well. Plus the sound quality isn't THAT good (the pricing is great, though, and their build quality is pretty solid), it's just "okay" for mainstream use.
- Audio-Technica ATH-M50X
- Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro
- AKG K 550
But those are rather pricey.
but if I used a bit of brain instead of my dick I'd go for the HyperX as wrath mentioned or Sennheiser - which you should actually purchase if you also enjoy some sound quality :s

You can get Sennheiser HD 201. for like €20-25 and a desktop mic for probably around €5-10. More expensive headphones maybe the Sennheiser HD 439, looks like a follow on from the 595 series, seems to be around €60
Or get some good quality in ears, been using them a lot recently, helps a lot @ summer too rather than these arctic ear muffs ;)
u are a gamer, act like one
i have the logitech G930 which is awesome, but since i have lots of money and no girlfriend, i also bought the sensei wireless (i have the G700s) and gonna buy H wireless headset once it will be in stock @ amazon
> buys wireless mouse
besides, there is something like 10-15ms difference between wire and not-wire
> uses wired mode
having wireless mouse have its usefulness, and if u cant see it then u are a eurofag.
having the possibility to wire it for gaming is also a great feature for those who wants to enjoy BOTH worlds u retards.
buying wired -> enjoy one world
got it eurofag?
AKG
Beyerdynamic
way to go
For positional audio in gaming you want no additional base and they should be open style headphone. yes open headphones leak sound to annoy others, but give you precise positioning cues. closed headphones (for music) make all the sounds feel like positioned in middle of ypur head.
who doesn't just simply want a proper headset instead of headphones + an additional microphone?
sennheiser pc320 if you're going for low budget, pc360 if you're going for high budget and have a sound card
