Toronto?

So, im asking if someone from crossfire is from Toronto or are the some people familiar with the city? Im looking for a good hotel which is located near the Toronto Maple Leafs homearena or has good transportation to the arena!

Its for next Septembers Icehockey World Cup, but starting to plan it already.

Other than that, how expensive is the city? Where the nightlife at?

Anyone else going?

What's your budget regarding the costs? If it ain't too much I'd be tempted to tag along.
Public transit in Toronto is okay, but compared to most large European cities it's actually quite depressing. Still, you can pretty easily get yourself anywhere within the Toronto area as long as you don't mind hopping on trains/trams/buses/subways. Hotels in the city will be expensive. I'd expect ~150 euro per night for that time of the year. I would consider checking out these guys http://www.hostellingtoronto.com/ -- it's about a 10 minute walk to the ACC. You will be paying ~8+ euro for a beer at most places, and buying alcohol at the store is much more expensive compared to what you will be used to. ~20 euro will get you a 750ml bottle of vodka and ~10 euro will get you a 6 pack of beer. Around the ACC is a million bars and clubs, but you will find yourself at home at Church and Wellesley.

Thanks, you from Toronto or just been there before? Im also trying to find a way to contact that old boytoy SHAUN if he has any plans on coming to Toronto at that time, you know where to contact him?

Yep I live here, hit me up when you're in town and we'll grab a beer. Shaun lives on the other side of the country now but I occasionally see him making fun of people on GTV. Brandon might have his number or facebook.

Breaking news: There are no hotels in Canada. Nightlife can be exciting if you go hunt for grizzly bears. Watch out, I heard Canadians eat people
