Could use some advice for a beast pc for work, mostly motion graphics/video/3D.
I've read online that the most important things for after effects are the cpu, ram & ssd so.. focus should be more on this I guess.
(been looking for a macbook pro/imac but i think it's kinda throwing away money?)
current setup:
Intel Core i7 6700K Boxed € 419,89 € 419,89
Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ( good one or cheaper option available? ) € 155,80
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 € 343,60 € 343,60
WD Blue WD20EZRZ, 2TB € 79,40 € 79,40
Corsair Obsidian 750D € 158,99 € 158,99
Noctua NH-D15 ( is this needed? ) € 87,- € 87,-
32 GB RAM Crucial Ballistix Sport BLS4K8G4D240FSA € 214,75 € 214,75
Corsair AX760 € 172,- € 172,-
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Solid state drives € 162,50 € 162,50
Dell P2715Q (210-ADVO) (also not sure) € 578,50 € 578,50

I cant help sorry
Specs you posted are absolutely beast, u could check:
Tweakers.net
(Might add in CF profile: Gave advice to mAus)
it's not a big surprise why pros actually use macbooks on this kind of work
If u want that 980 Ti u can get worse other parts. Anyways if you really looking for video rendering go for amd firepro. And not sure exactly how big ssd u were looking for.
E: Also leaving some space for budget since u dont exactly say if u need windows, regular hard drive etc. Also cooler for cpu is something i would recommend.
I don't think you need that big psu unless going for two gpu's some time. Others can verify me wrong or right. :p
Superflower 550w should work fine (they are made with same components as good quality corsairs). Unless you go for the name.
Take pro version, its like put money in a bank. Its more expensive yes but more solid to last longer.
I always tell people to buy good mobo because all other parts attached to it. If you go with cheap one you will most likely lack the ability to upgrade or add more parts to your pc.

this one okay?
I would recommend to get that one but pretty much any will do as long as its not stock cooler. I got the older version NH-D14 on my current setup and OC'ed CPU from 3,3ghz to 5ghz and temps under 80 celsius so its solid pick for sure. And even if you don't go for OC its good to have CPU run lower temps. Also I don't see point saving 40e for getting something cheaper with setup like this. Ofcourse thats only my perspective.
Also what I readm from sepulchre post about ram fitting in with mobo and that cooler here is a link that I found trustworthy.

Planning to get something like my first suggestion so I been doing some study.
otherwise, http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/ for the rest, check in specific topics, they have pretty self explainable tutorials towards each specfic sections, gaming, rendering and so on, explains towards each type of CPU/GPU benefits and makes your decision on what to buy a lot easier. U can also create a topic there and post your build, then be given hopefully some useful advices towards either adjusting it a bit or comfirming if its good.
You need a cooler for sure, so always needed for such systems to keep the cpu cool. Just check if it fits to your mainboard. Like when you go 4x8gb Ram, in some cases the cooler is blocking 1 slot.
And for ram, if you go 4x8gb, you can save like 100 € (and get quad channel), just be sure your mainboard can use it and ur cooler is not in the way.
Also, when you choose your mainboard, consider all the contacts you need (like how many usb slots, displayport/hdmi etc.).
Same thing with your case, like how many usb slots u want in front-panel, how many slots u want for ur HDDs/SDDs, choose wisely.
Also don't forget to add a dvd-drive for 10€ or sth.
