MX518 best mouse ever

I am playing at the moment with my old mx518 again, only it seem to 'lag' if that makes sense. Is this because windows 8 doesnt support this mouse anymore? is there a way to solve this issue?

maybe its the same issue as i had.

I did it manualy like in guide. Instead of "osu!" paste there ET or other games like cs go.

Cant update all 3 options, says they dont support my computer, when I have 8.1 windows 64 bit

From the title, what was your issue with the mouse? Since it's only a solution but doesn't really describe your problem (apart from stuttering cursor :D )

at some moments it just feels like fps lag, Its like my mouse is skipping some pixels or something

make sure your hz is set to 500, also your screen might run a lower refresh rate than you're used to

I don't remember what the name is, I think it's logitech software although it might also be an external tool

I got some external programms to check & change it, but it doesnt seem to work, it sticks on 125 hertz

Wasn't there a tool to override your USB port and make it work on 500hz?

Just download the supporting software from Logitech's website ;)
Than you'll be able to raise polling rate up to 1000hz if I can remember it correctly.

I'm not home, so I can't check it. But my 'fixed' MX518 works on Windows 8.1 pro.

Downloaded the programm the only pollingrate I can select is 125

No support in w10, I only have a vm, and so far I don't like it.
games and software are showing a lot of malfunctions.

I remember the name again, it's smth with hidusbf or so, you have to run it as administrator, put it to 500 and tick filter device

hmm denk dat dat dan aan de mx518 ligt, kan hem met mijn G5 wel veranderen met die zelfde installatie, die werkte ook niet met de laatste versie, misschien heb je hier iets aan.
