pub clan competition

This may not be the best place to ask, but I'm sure there are some CF users who have a connection to a public clan. Would anyone be interested in a cup for public clans?

It would be hosted on CG, use CGAC, and be broadcast on ETTV, just like any other competition. However, it would be different in that you may only sign up with your public clan. If the public clan has a lot of ETPro players (players who play in CG cups), they can only use 2 at a time to in order to keep teams as fair as possible.

EA doesn't think they can get a team and I would be banned for posting it on F|A.

I've seen it happen for similar things being posted there (i.e. NA Center, which was a short-lived NA community site).

:) is there any limit how much is a "public clan"? How many players for example. Also, what mod? I think etpro.. not many pub clans are interested in that.

I'm not sure what you mean by "how much" if you're referring to the team sizes in the competition, I mean 6on6 ETPro with the standard global config.

I explained it a bit more earlier, but at the moment I'm simply trying to find out if enough teams would be interested.

I haven't yet because i've been banned for similar things in the past. I want to just find contacts within clans who might play initially, and once I believe we can be successful I will make rules, a sign up page, etc. and post it around.

I got over 60 pubclan's websites bookmarked where I was somehow active/lurking around, though almoust all of them have died already during the years. If you seriously want this to happen, get it posted to FA since thats the forum most of the active clans are following(remember to mention that they spread the word too). And if u are worried about being banned/post removed, contact their leaders first through pm and explain situation etc, or let Aniky carry the message.
Tl;dr: get it posted to FA.

+ AN, Quarkclan, Bunker, DRI? Also active ones ETc, EA, TWC, Delta(?), Uce(?) and so on...
Also Lost Legion(big community) website has been down for years and I dont know why(was one of the first servers I played after BTC(http://forum.btcclan.de))

I play on (HBC) server regularly and there is a regular community of players who aren't in the clan but would be interested in playing as a 'pubheroes' mix team. If you need a team, give us a call.

Pretty cool idea. I can see a lot of players from the pub clans wanting to try out the Etpro competition scene once they're exposed to it

Would be awesome if you could! Enigma told me EA isn't very active and probably wouldn't be able to, but if you guys are able to play I think that's enough for a cup.

I'm gonna start writing a newspost & setting up things at CG and maybe some guides for new players. Will you see it on CF when I post it?
