widescreen troubles

Hi, im having trouble getting my ET play with 1920x1080 resolution.
r_mode -1
r_customheight 1080
r_customwidth 1920
and yet it shows up as this :

Any help please?

maybe r_displayrefresh to whatever your desktop is

Try r_mode 0

your monitor should support that high resolution.

Right click the program -> properties -> compatibility - > disable display scaling on high DPI settings
