No reason to buy Haswell anymore, make a Skylake build please.
Well i wanted to, but tbh haswell is better to what I've checked on different forums, so yea thats why i went for haswell. Unless you know some good build with skylake for same price, then i migh reconsider. Thanks tho.

Haswell better, in what? If you want to upgrade in the future Skylake is the logical choice. You can use the DDR4 in your next build and Kaby lake and Cannonlake are for 1151 only. Do you want to overclock or not? Also resell value is higher. Haswell is EOL. That M.2 slot on your Haswell motherboard is also not that fast only 10Gb/s, Skylake 32 Gb/s. You can only get high speeds with M.2 slot when you buy ASRock Extreme 6 Z97.. And a NVMe SSD in a Ultra M.2 slot makes a big difference if you need it. I have that same Haswell CPU already for a year or so, I would not buy it again, why would you?

Furthermore the 380X is faster than the GTX960. And it's stupid to buy a 120GB SSD nowdays if you can get a 240GB for a few bucks more. It's better to buy a cheaper motherboard than buy a 120GB SSD.

ASRock Z170 Pro4 114 euro is a good option with enough phases for overclocking.
Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P 110 euro
8GB DDR4 30 euro same price as DDR3 atleast here Crucial CT2K4G4DFS8213
Intel Core i5-6600K 240 euro

Ok i guess you got me here :). So skylake it is. I think ill go with 6600k tho instead of 6500, i think its worth it. About the Mobo tho, ASRock Z170 Pro i saw quite a few similiar models but not sure if they are any better. And gou, can i use amd gpu in this build with intels processor ?

If you want to overclock you need the Z710 chipset, else B8150. Just look at the features page to compare. Most motherboard brands are all good nowdays. And yes why would it not work?

ive got very similar build to what you linked, same CPU, same ram, same gpu model but from gigabyte, from what I experienced so far you may want to consider not getting SSD and getting 970 or 390 - some high-end games will run way better and you wont have to upgrade - other than that there is no big price diffrance between haswell and skylake so you should consider getting 6500k instead

I chose the power supply to assist with better graphics card in the future..
What will next year as he will want upgrade to R9 390x?
Parent
750w yes, if he future get 2x980 ti. In 1 card good 550 w will be good
Parent
Yes you are right, but be aware that the R9 390x under load can eat a 410W power and a good 550W might not be enough.
As for the above cards I agree with you 100%.
Parent
550W is always enough for 390X. And next year he will upgrade to Polaris/Pascal which is a new node on 14nm/16nm and will use a lot less power because of that.
Parent
550W for R9 390X enough? Plz...
Parent
Yes unless you have a cheap low-end PSU.
Parent
For that procesor r9 380 Saphire is better.
