Porting ET to Unreal Engine 4

I came across this video, showing the Quake 3 movement ported to Unreal Engine 4.
This got me thinking about the possibilities of porting ET (now fully open sourced) to Unreal Engine 4.
Maps, weapons, maps etc can all be redesigned and remodelled to be on par with current gen games, whilst retaining the exact (100%) core movement, weapon damage and physics of ET.
Thoughts? This may be something I will seriously look into starting as a side project / hobby. Will be an open source project.
