Help with traveling in France

Dear crossfire community,

This Thursday I am traveling to the beautiful France. My flight is landing at Marseille airport at 22:25 CET. From that point on I have to travel to Les Angles, which is near Avignon. Originally, I wanted to take the train from Marseille to Avignon. However, the latest train option departs (afaik) just before 21:00 CET, which I will not be able to catch.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Are there any other options (besides taxi) on how I can best travel from Marseille to Les Angles at Thursday the 21th of July around 23:15 CET? It would be a pleasure if someone has by any chance a contact who is willing to drive me between those places.

Thank you very much in advance. Merci beaucoup!

P.S. If I can't find any suitable traveling options, I will just go out in Marseille that night and travel the next day. If anyone would like to meet up, please let me know!

Why are you traveling to dangerous countries in times like these?
My father said the same, but I see no harm in going there. Chances are not that high that something happens to me.

U are one month to late. This time in June I was in Marseille, I could have take you myself...I don know anything about travelling with France means of transportation, honestly I did not even know there are trains or planes in France, I taught everybody is using tricycles
Thank you that is nice of you to say. I figured out blablacar.fr is a common way for people to travel relatively cheap. Think I will use that option if it is available around that time.

Oh that was you at this traffic light ? :D

Sebhes, try on a site called "Blabla Car" thats a site where you can contact people next to you in the city, and give a rendez-vous to bring you to an other place

and with a good guy like you, sure people will drive you, + we love NL people here in France..

Welcome and enjoy your trip mate
French people nearly like everyone, it just doesn't work the other way...
My most stranger trip was in Corsica..

Thank you very much Mxt! Some people indeed adviced me to use that website. I hope people will be available around that time. Is it best for me to book in advance or should I wait till I land and got my luggage and stuff?

Merci!

Sleep there, I think it's the better way to handle it. It's a bit too far to get a cap, uber or rent a car..
Too bad , leaving here tonight
Renting a car is prolly the best way to get around here
You serious? Did you go out in Marseille? If so, are there any clubs you can recommend? I am a fan of house/dance music

Come ill drive you sebhes you bloddy little fucker
Thank you to all helping me. Had some contact with Marseille LeFrancis as well via pm.

Pro tip: Don't buy bus tickets online as I got scammed (payed 4 tickets, received 0) by their ridiculous bad website. Buy them on the airport.
Good luck and enjoy France ;)

So you are going to Les Angles near spain ? It's like 3 hours from my place (Toulouse) :D
Haha oui oui! Currently at the airport of Marseille to go back home again. We stayed at Les Angles and went out in Avignon. We were lucky there was this festival right now.

Poor thing is that people don't speak English in France. Nevertheless, I had a great time!

Yep I totally agree with you, we don't speak English good enough (or not at all for some). Glad you enjoyed South of France :)
