it is ambidextrous, i don't think i'll like it. Zowie mice are expensive so i got to choose right :)

steelseries rival

because headshots
Is it similar to A4 tech A9 or IE 3.0 ?

Only real difference is in size, at least from what I have seen. I have the EC1-a myself and it's great. I'd say if you have larger hands, get the EC1-a. If you have smaller hands, EC2-a.
My hands are normal size for a 1,80m guy, something similar to size of A4 Tech A9 would be great...
The problem is not the size of the mouse overall, it is the wideness since i dont like mice too "fat", like the Deathadder 3.5G i once had...
Parent
Don't get either as they are shit
Why so? Have you tried both? From what i've been told those 2 are the best for like 90% of people...
Also what would you recommend instead? Please don't say deathadder, i had one 3.5G for years and i hated it... its wide as shit and i can't grip it properly.... and also i don't think ambidextrous mice would suit my grip too.

They are identical (clicks, mousewheel, sensor, everything is the same) only the size is different, the EC2-a is small as fuck for my hands, the clicks are way too easy and the mousewheel is sort of cheap/shit...

Just get the new G403
Parent
Woah i didn't know the G403... must be new and it looks kinda nice shaped for me, still i doubt it beats my (now broken) A4 tech A9 or IE 3.0... the best mice i've ever had
Parent
Ok after some research... This G403 is indeed new and seems awesome, but It's 100+ euro + shipping, that expensive as fuck... i won't go further on 60euro
Parent
Think there is a few issue with the G403 it has the best sensor available atm so yeahj

I fully agree with BSM his post. I have had both the razar deathadder and the Zowie-EC1 and I like Zowie way better than the deathadder. Make your choice depending on what you are used to and the size of your hands.
My question is... Is it as wide as the Deathadder? I like thinner mice, and i abolutely dislike the deathadder's wideness and spiky fronts
Parent
I am not sure and unfortanetely I threw away my Deathadder. All I can say is that this one feels much better than my previous mouse. The EC1 version should be pretty comparable in size with the deathadder if im correct. The EC2 version might be somewhat smaller if I recall correctly

Alright thank you.

Zowies build quality is shit compared to Mionix, you're looking for ambidexterous mouse so get Mionix Castor. It has the same sensor as the best Zowie mice but it lasts much better and is much more comfortable. Got Mionix Naos myself, never made a better decision when it comes to mice.
PMW 3366 > PMW 3310
Parent
the difference between those two is so marginal that it doesn't even matter.
Parent
Of course a simple newbie would not appreciate or notice the difference. But even the smallest difference is still a difference.
Parent
Ofcourse, difference is difference, but headshot is still the same with both sensors ;P
Parent
I'm looking exactly to a NON-ambidextrous :p and the Naos looks too huge... thank you anyway mate
Parent
castor is actually for right hand only. and it's way smaller that naos

Sensei > all
It's funny because it's literally the worst mouse I've ever had :D
Parent
I laav it. But then again, I haven't had many others to try.
Parent
sensei sux :p tried it

After having played with in IME 3.0 and a Deathadder for years I went with an EC-1 eVo, because I preferred the larger size of the IME over the DA. The EC-1 is bigger and longer, never liked the lower back of the DA (where it meets your palm).

The EC-1 eVo is the best mouse I'v ever used. Feels solid, perfect size, good sensor, no shitty software. It just works :)
Thank you ;-)
