Question about UK from an aussie

Been travelling Europe for the last month, had a blast. Settled in UK now.

I've heard mixed opinions about this so thought I'd ask some fellow ET scrubs - What's the go about finding work without a visa?

I'm sorting my UK passport and visa but it might take a few weeks and I'm getting low on cash. Are there many cash in hand jobs around and is that even legal?

Also someone suggest some sweet places around London (or Brighton where I'll be going to work once I get the visa)!

Agreed, it would be much too straightforward to assume that the place where you're getting your passport and visa would know more about this shit.

Not getting my passport in UK, mumsy is sorting it all out for me back in Aus where all my documents I need are.

Only reason I'm going there is cause it's where all the IT work is!

People are always posting work, accommodation and other shit there.
