My Graphics Card keeps crashing:

So I think a need a new one. Since it's Black Friday, I thought this is my opportunity to seize the moment.

I currently have a MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II. So I need a new one that can replace my old one.

Budget €200-300.

Thanks!

Considering to sell my used MSi R9 290x which I have used for about 2 years if you make me a good offer
Sorry, for PC I only buy new components
Parent
good for you :)
Parent
Dont want to risk anything being wrong with it :)

In fact mine is build in within my PC right now and works like a charm, no experiments were made with OC and I cleaned the fan every 3-4 months. So I am safe to say it is in a good shape
Parent
I don't say it's not in good shape. But it has been used already so it's life expectancy will be less already. If i just buy a new one I'm pretty sure it will last longer. No hate tho, for PC I just buy it new.

Get 970 or if you can get a deal on black friday look for 1070

1060 is kind of a weird mix, because it costs similar to 970 and according to some tests it's weaker
Do all Graphics Card fit on basically the same processor/mother board etc?

Just check the PCIE connectors you have on the mobo
Parent
I currently have this motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V

Would for example this one fit: MSI N750 Ti TF 2GD5/OC GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5

I don't know where to check for the PCIE connectors. :(

Dw. It will fit Kappa

Motherboards don't have PCI-E connectors.

The 1060 is far stronger than the 970. It's comparable to the 980. Plus it has more VRAM, which will be a lot better if he wants to play new games.

1080ti in the new year could wait for that
Looks like the memory is failing of your 560ti

Your 560ti has 2x PCI-e 6pin connectors (back of the card), so any card with PCI-e 6pin should work, your motherboard can handle all new cards. If your PSU has PCI-e 8pin (or 6+2 pin) connector you can connect all new generation graphics card, like the the RX 480 or 1060. It would also be wise to tell me what PSU you are using, than I can give advice on that.

I just bought this one https://www.caseking.de/powercolor-radeon-rx-480-red-devil-8192-mb-gddr5-gcpc-044.html good black friday deal, but this one has PCI-e 8pin connector. Regarding buying a new graphics card, German webshops are mostly cheaper to compare https://geizhals.de/

Regarding the best card for you, perhaps something like a 750ti will be good enough, if the 560ti was good enough the 750ti will be good enough as-well, but I would rather buy the RX 460 than, because its faster than the 750ti.

But if you want a new card that is much faster the RX 480 or 1060 are the best options right now.
looks like more like a plague to me

Hey thanks for your reply.

I purchased the RX 480, Ive had that 560ti for about 4 years now, so was about time something in my PC was failing. Itll arrive tomorrow, curious to see if its such improvement. :d
