I love my AOC G2460 PG (144hz). And do we really notice the difference of 144 and 240hz?(As big as 60 => 144hz?)
dunno about AOC :o
Parent
Imo don't go above 144hz.
Agreed, the transition 120 to 144 is worth it, but not to 240hz, which comes only at cost of picture quality.
Parent
Well still it's easier to achieve ~150fps than 240+fps if you want to feel full potential of 240hz. You'd have to sacrifice graphics settings in most newer games. Plus there is one more thing: is it real 240hz or the 'fake' one.
Parent
Are there even real 240hz monitors? I thought they are just 120hz for 3D
Parent
Btw I got a BenQ xl2411z 144hz today

Parent
ye its good, but going to upgrade :D
Parent
Why? Or the better question would be, what features are you wanting that the XL2411 doesn't have?
Parent

Bought a 34inch 3440x1440 ultra wide (21:9) monitor a few months ago. It's the bomb!
There are some suitable for serious gaming, but i mainly use it for productivity: coding, video editing, multitasking, watching movies

Ah nice! Im looking for a nice design / editing screen aswell.
Parent
then i can really recommend those 34 inch ultrawides!

I got the 2720Z and it's too big. Don't go for over 24" at 1920x1080 in my honest opinion if you want it for gaming.

Not sure about these QHD monitors, but if you want it for gaming I'd recommend getting one for that, and then a second for editting etc
Aleeex, how is it?
