ET HZ issue

Yooooo,
so yesterday after reinstalling my PC I downloaded all the necessary BS like drivers and so on and wanted to try out the new OBS Studio for streaming - so I downloaded that and tried to use it - kind of succesfully but had multiple issues with it and the main one is that whenever I went to fullscreen I would just get 60hz (if I had ET in window, it would be normal 144hz) - I tried to play ET without OBS now and I still only get 60hz eventho in nvidia drivers I still got 144hz :(

144hz works perfectly fine in CSGO, GTA V and other games :(

Any clue?

smells like some settings in your cfg?

had the same problem, it solved somehow itself. Even if the game showed 144 Hz i felt huge difference while streaming not when it comes to fps lag but refresh rate lag. Once i started streaming again and everything worked normally.

Biggest bullshit is that it forces 60hz now even if I'm not streaming for whatever eason, even tried to look for something like 'force frame rate' in nvidia drivers but nothing :'(

dunno if it works, but maybe "r_displayrefresh 144"?

vid restart 2-3 times and it should be fine

My screen also stuck on 60Hz (not hz) in all games :( Feel sorry for you Bob, hope you will find some Hz so you get skilled again on public, because with 60Hz in your name it's disasspointing.

I would have a few solutions to try, but I only help people who respect other people. Enjoy your 60Hz!
