Yo Lanpeople and other nerds who were too cool to attend,
I am planning to buy myself a nice fast SSD to install games or programs there to make them run faster. I was thinking about 250GB and about 100€. I don't want this small chip thingies that you put on your motherboard.
Since I have no clue about Hard Drives in general, I need your help!
My specs:
CPU: Intel Code i5 3570 @3,40 GHz
RAM: 2x 4GB DDR3 by Crucial Technology with PC3-12800H (800 MHz)
Mainboard: ASRock H61M-DGS
GFX: Radeon RX 480 Graphics 8gb
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Hard Drive: 1TB
Thanks guys! Much love <3

only read half of the first sentance :3
which site are you buying from?
e: first google search http://www.pcgamer.com/best-ssd-deals-today/
as u referred to them as the chip ones http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-ssds,3891.html
http://www.techradar.com/news/best-solid-state-drives-ssds
nothing really must-to know about hard drives rather then it doesnt really make much of a diff other then ssd lasting longer and regarding speed pointless IMO if you dont have a stupid fast net (for an average consumer today)
pick one or two :) hf
I was about to order this one: https://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/250GB-Samsung-850-Evo-2-5Zoll--6-4cm--SATA-6Gb-s-TLC-Toggle--MZ-75E250B-_987465.html
Is there a big difference to yours?
So like I said before, you should focus on as much SSD storage as possible instead of speed. If the MX300 is cheaper than the Samsung one, why would you buy the Samsung than? You would not notice it. Even if you compare NVME SSD to SATA SSD you won't notice much difference. The Samsung 850 Evo and the Crucial MX300 have both TLC NAND, so no difference in lifetime. MLC and SLC NAND are better, but more expensive and not needed for consumer use-cases.
